  • Call for British version of Taylor Force Act: Kay Wilson, who was attacked brutally by Palestinian Arabs in 2010, has brought her case to Parliament in protest of British money funding Palestinian terrorists and their families. Read more here.
  • Couple expose dreadful Downs discrimination: A couple have spoken out about the pressure they were put under by the NHS to abort their baby daughter at 36 weeks, after she was discovered to have Downs’ Syndrome, and the neglect they suffered after her birth. Read more here.
  • Online supermarket under fire for blasphemous product: Online grocery retailer Ocado is receiving criticism for stocking a variety of beef jerky that takes the Lord’s name in vain. Read more here.
  • Men offered NHS smear tests: Men who register with their GPs as women are being routinely offered smear tests and screenings for breast cancer, whilst women who register as men are being withheld such offers. Read more here.

  • Iranian convert in Europe winning Muslims to Christ: This week the media has picked up on the fascinating story of Annahita Parsan, an Iranian convert from Islam to Christianity who is now ministering in Sweden and has won 1500 souls to the Lord in the past 5 years. Read more here.
  • Senate to vote on pro-life legislation: On the same day as the March for Life in the USA, the Senate prepares to vote on pro-life legislation – but the pro-life lobby are divided between two rival bills. Read more here. Meanwhile, the Polish government has come under fire from the EU for pressing ahead with pro-life legislation.
  • Holocaust Memorial Day campaign: This year, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (27 January), people are being asked to join a global social media campaign using the hashtag #WeRemember. Read more here.

Israel & Middle East

  • US more than halves aid to UNRWA, demands reform: The State Department notified the UN organisation that it will withhold $65 million from the agency for Palestinian refugees, prompting the latter to launch a massive funding drive. Read more here.

  • Abbas shows his true colours: Speaking to the PLO Central Council, the enraged Palestinian leader tore into Israel and declared the Oslo Accords no longer valid (1993). Read more here. Following this, the Council passed resolutions withdrawing their recognition of Israel and seeking to sever ties. Meanwhile, reports from the US suggest that the embassy move to Jerusalem may happen sooner than expected.
