We are all very familiar with the expression 'unable to see the wood for the trees'. The metaphor, of course, describes the problem of failing to see the big picture from the clutter of what is immediately before us. It is the dynamic of being so fixated on the ‘micro’ that we become blinded to the ‘macro’. However, there can also be the syndrome of hiding behind the tree(s) to avoid acknowledging what is, or should be, blatantly obvious. It is a conscious or unconscious myopia born of reluctance to face both the facts and reality.
We are seeing Christian ministries and organisations fervently tackling extremely important issues like those of abortion, euthanasia, gender fluidity and Israel; and we thank God and pray for these efforts and the issues concerned. However, on the globalist agendas which are now on full show, there is an apparent reluctance across the Christian landscape to engage. But why?
Decisions and consequences
Throughout the Covid ‘pandemic’ individuals were required to make a choice regarding whether or not to accept the ‘warp speed’ gene-therapy jabs. (The definition of a ‘vaccine’ has recently and expediently been amended to include these injections.) Although the various Christian denominations generally fell into line with the pro-vaccine position, the appropriate biblical doctrine was and is that of personal choice: each person had (and has) the liberty under God to decide for him- or herself. Needless to say, these personal and critical decisions were not made lightly and tended to be opinion-shaping from that point on.

In the early days of the ‘pandemic’, much was unknown regarding the nature of these novel treatments. However, while the vast majority of medical professionals continue to insist that the benefits of the vaccines far outweigh the possible risks, it is nevertheless abundantly clear that there have been multitudes of serious health issues; and the ultimate ‘adverse effect’ of thousands of deaths (over 2,000 in the UK alone). While this constitutes a very small proportion of the millions of people who have been vaccinated, it is nevertheless unacceptably high. Concerned medical experts state that these outcomes would previously have halted any such experimental and untried medical treatment in its tracks. And of course the medium to long-term impact is completely unknown, not least regarding antibody-dependent enhancement issues.
Don’t mention the va…ine.
Over the last two years and within groupings – from nuclear families to organisations large and small – views became polarised; and as a consequence, resulted in considerable strain on relationships. In efforts to avoid conflict, the subject – like those of politics and religion at the dinner table – was carefully avoided. And whenever an organisation’s views were publicly expressed, these have been so nuanced and ambiguous as to be effectively meaningless. So, the elephant in the room that is the dangers of the vaccines were then, and are still now, being studiously underplayed, in the hope that the unwelcome tusker will wander off into the sunset, never to be seen again. That hope, however, is surely and dangerously misplaced and what is becoming a herd of mammals is increasing in numbers.
Dress rehearsal for the main event
Early views on the scenario referred to the ‘mark of the beast’, and some of these were rash and immature. However, the settled and balanced view now suggests that while the 2020/21 situation doesn’t warrant that description, what it did represent was and is a ‘dress rehearsal’ for what the book of Revelation outlines for us in days to come (Rev. 13:16-17).
The ongoing pressure to vaccinate the planet – including the youngest of children – makes it clear to me that what is going on is not a ‘health’ issue, but something much more than that.
This view has been substantiated by reports from Sweden, and now from the BBC, of individuals receiving chip implants: each serving as a verifiable ID for the purposes (for example) of making monetary payments and/or gaining access to rooms and buildings. Any reluctance amongst the general population to accept such technologies ‘in vivo’ is being eroded by apps on mobile phones offering the same facilities. Alongside this, the ongoing pressure to vaccinate the planet – including the youngest of children – makes it clear to me that what is going on is not a ‘health’ issue, but something much more than that. It is in effect a form of child abuse for the purpose of furthering the globalist cause.
In parallel with and directly related to the above, the World Health Organisation is now actively working to amend an existing treaty this month and create a new one by 2024. Both of these actions are designed to allow that unelected body, in any future crisis (as defined by itself), to control all of the major governments around the world which sign up to it.
Where are the watchmen?
In the midst of these dystopian developments, one would expect any and every Christian preacher, denomination and organisation to be sounding an urgent and strenuous alarm: to be declaring a red alert. To be calling out on where the coercive vaccination programmes, digital ID schemes and the cohort of extremely wealthy individuals working through the offices of a supra-national and unaccountable organisation are leading us.

Any further compliance – political or personal – with what many now clearly see as coercive interventions, medical or otherwise, is likely, in my opinion, to bring us all – at an individual and national level – into real peril and bondage.
Whilst we witness the prophecies in the book of Revelation beginning to burst into our world and impacting the lives of us all, the major Christian bodies to whom we might look to and expect to sound the alarm, are lamentably muted. Let us not be complicit in this matter. It is incumbent upon us all to warn others of the dangers now upon us, to stand against compromise when the issues impinge upon our faith, and to be prepared for the societal ostracisation that this will inevitably bring.
