We've been alerted by Prayer for Parliament about the deadline for a public consultation on assisted dying, which we would like to draw your attention to.

They write:

At a time of chaos in the Heath Services and with so many deaths being recorded, we have the issue of assisted suicide being progressed!

The assisted suicide lobby has put a large amount of pressure on the Health and Social Care Select Committee to undertake an inquiry into assisted suicide.

The Committee has now gone ahead with launching an inquiry, including calling for public responses.

The deadline for submitting evidence is at 23.59pm on Friday 20 January 2023. What are your thoughts on assisted dying/assisted suicide?

It is important that we give our opinions and pray into the whole issue.
